The Box
The boxes we use are made from Kraft material, which is 100% recyclable, biodegradable, and compostable. Additionally, the adhesive strip and ink used is also eco-friendly and safe for recycling and composting.
The Stamped Date
The stamped date uses Algae Stamp Ink which is a revolutionary ink developed by Living Ink Technologies. It uses algae cells for pigments, making it safer and cleaner to work with, and more compatible with the recycling and composting process. Algae Ink™ is a net negative carbon technology, with each bucket of ink sequestering the same carbon as two trees.
The Clear Bag
The bags we use meet FDA requirements for direct food contact; industrial and home compostable. The compostable films used to produce these bags are made from FSC-certified wood cellulose fibers, sourced using sustainable forestry principles.
